A SPECIAL DAY

The first time that I played with the STOP orchestra from Institut Roquetes was an unforgettable day. It was in Rio Mar. We were practicing during four days and at last the concert day arrived. A lot of people came and I was very nervous but, at the same time, very excited. At the end, when the concert finished, we received great many applauses.

The effort was worth it.

HALLOWEEN

Halloween is celebrated on October 31st every year. The holiday began as a Celtic festival from Ireland called Samhain. Halloween became more popular worldwide with the start of the Christian holiday called All Saints Day. Halloween is traditionally a holiday that is meant to ward off evil spirits. During the time of the Celtic traditions, people would carve out scary faces and figures in giant turnips, place a candle inside, and set in their windows to scare away evil ghosts and enemies on Halloween.

Nowadays the turnips have been replaced by orange pumpkins, but the carving tradition is still continued, as well as lighting the pumpkins on the night of Halloween. The traditional colours that are used for most decorations for Halloween are black and orange. There are certain characters that are associated with Halloween: ghosts, witches, skeletons, vampires, werewolves, bats and black cats.

I WITH YOU A HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

LUCIO'S HOUSE

If you travel to Madrid, you can’t leave it without eating at Lucio’s house. It’s a traditional family restaurant situated on Cava Baja Street.

There are a lot of different types of food in its menu: vegetables, meat, soups, and all of them are delicious. The desserts are also wonderful, and you always want to repeat. If you go there, it’s worth eating the famous “huevos estrellados” dish.

Some famous people are regular customers of the restaurant, such as politics, singers, actors, actresses...

It’s open every day.

Don’t waste time, make a reservation!

TIGER NUT MILK

Here is it the recipe of tiger nut milk, a cold and sweet drink, essential in summer.

INGREDIENTS:

-        250 g tiger nuts (I buy them in Tortosa’s market)
-        180 g Sugar
-        1 l Water

PROCESS:

-       Clean the tiger nuts very well, rinsing them in clean water.
-     When they are completely clean, set them to soak in a lot of cold water for 24 hours.
-      After this time, rinse the tiger nuts again in clean water, changing the water until it is completely clear, and then drain off all the water.
-        Mash the tiger nuts or put them in a blender, to make them into a soft paste.
-       Add the water and the sugar, previously mashed, and stir them.
-     Now, pass the mix through a metal strainer, and then through a wet cloth filter until the liquid does not have any large particles.
-        Let it sit in a fridge for 2 hours and serve it.

You can also serve the tiger nut milk like an ice-cream. Simply put it in the freezer.

LIKES AND DISLIKES

Now, I am going to introduce you my likes and my dislikes.
I am going to start telling about food. My favourite food is fruit; I can spend a day only eating it, but after a meal I have to practice sport, so I like playing football, basketball, volleyball, swimming...
My hobbies in summer are swimming, meeting my fiends all day and, above all, sailing with my boat. It’s an amazing experience that it makes me feel free. I can’t explain it with words. I love sea and the sound of the waves.
My favourite instrument is the piano because I play it since I'm nine years old, and I like listening all kind of music too.
I like animals but I don’t like snakes and the other reptiles.
I would like to travel around the world, meet new places and new cultures. I like rural zones but I prefer big cities, to see high buildings, shops....  and places near the sea like islands.

I love enjoying the present but I am always intrigued to know about my future.
I hate superficial persons, I consider that soul is the most important thing of a person “one look can impress you more than the beauty of one's eyes”, is one of my favourite sentences.

DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?

My description is about a girl. She's from New York. Nowadays she is a very famous singer and she always wears very strange clothes. Her hair is blonde and wavy, but in most of her videos she appears wering a wig.
Some of her famous songs are Born this way, Judas, Telephone, Alejandro, Bad Romance and The Edge of Glory.
